Furthermore, we have rehabilitative medicine doctors and physical therapy staff who are the first in Southeast Asia to be Matheson’s Certified Functional Capacity Evaluators and Matheson’s Certified Ergonomic Evaluation Specialists from the United States. They can assess patients referred by corporate clients and determine the appropriate return-to-work status after work-related injuries or ergonomic issues.

The Phyathai and Paolo Hospital Group has pioneered comprehensive health care to enhance organizational capabilities in caring for employees’ health, reducing work-related and lifestyle health risks. The Let’s Get Healthy! (LGH) Thailand Application, developed by BDMS in collaboration with OHSU, raises awareness of physical and mental health risks among corporate clients and employees. This provides organizations with a comprehensive view of employee health through Health Productivity Management (HPM) reports, leading to the design of appropriate employee health care programs, managing health care costs, and enhancing organizational efficiency while fostering a sustainable healthy culture.
Analysis: We analyze data from general health checks and occupational health assessments on an individual basis and through medical statistics for organizations. This identifies problems and promotes individual and organizational health to prevent chronic diseases, improve health from chronic conditions, reduce the risk of complications, cut medical costs, and boost employee and organizational productivity.
Adaptation: We develop models for changing attitudes and behaviors towards better health in high-risk groups.
The Phyathai and Paolo Hospital Group has established the Health Up Team to promote employee health awareness and lifestyle changes for better health among high-risk groups. This multidisciplinary team includes occupational physicians, occupational nurses, HR personnel, physical therapists, other medical specialists, and marketing staff. They design various health development programs tailored to specific groups for maximum efficiency, such as disease-specific programs, personality-specific programs, and occupation-specific programs.
Acknowledges: We conduct academic research to support occupational health operations, ensuring confidence among organizations and corporate clients, with academic references.
In collaboration with BDMS and OHSU, we translated the Barratt Impulsiveness Scale (BIS 11) into Thai, securing copyright from the original. This survey, based on research, effectively measures impulsivity affecting work and behavioral changes. It was translated for Thai research participants and published by BDMS and OHSU in the journal Psychiatry Research (Juneja et al., 2019). Additionally, the study “Let’s Get Healthy! Thailand Diet Survey Validation” examines the accuracy of a dietary behavior survey for Thais in relation to the risk of non-communicable diseases, currently under review for publication.
